Heard on the radio earlier that they have managed to get most of the people of the streets expect a handful. Also heard that a few were detained for their own good after refusing help. Obviously they won't get everyone off the streets but good to see they are trying to help rather than letting people freeze to death.
That's good news

It’s literally heaving down. A complete full on blizzard and that streamer just looks like it keeps going! In all fairness I don’t know how tomorrow’s so called low could have beat this anyway.!
I know Neiller, but can you imagine if we get another foot on top of this?!

So latest update for tomorrows warning looks less likely for NI to get much snow but it does say significant uncertainty
-
Still no signs of stopping. Must have nearly a foot of snow in Moira

It's weird. That blob doesn't seem to be going anywhere. Could be on for the day

As for Friday's snow, I'm still non the wiser. GFS 0z says yes, Met text says no.
I know. Met IE forecast very different

Apologies, ignore previous post. Don't know what happened there

Looking at buying a 2002 Rav4 anyone got one, would you recommend?
We've got a Kia Sportage 4wd. Great car with heated seats for those snowy mornings.

Is this band of precipitation not meant to be the forecast rain before the snow showers set in?
-
Met Office weather warning has wind picking up later so hopefully pushing the showers further inland

Lake (or Lough) effect snow? I don't believe it anyway.
