Call me optimistic, but the storm south of Leicester seems to be building to the east. Okay okay I’m really sat here trying to be optimistic. However… an hour ago I’d say no chance for us now there’s a glimmer!!
fingeres and toes crossed , not far from you up on the wolds, may stay up for this one.

In view of a possible Red Warning for Friday morning whoever is leading your fencing job could be looking at corporate manslaughter
hence me being a bit worried as I work in an old RAF base, with condemed buildings and converted nissan huts (now poly tunnels)

There are police reports of trouble on the horncastle to Louth road, A15 between Lincoln and sleaford and many of the routes to the north of Boston inc partney. All this and it’s the start of a increasingly worsening day according to weather reports.

I just don’t believe it!! Haha
I'm at the far east of the orange zone, I think it is going to be justified, reports of lorries getting stuck on Willingham hill, we are now getting waves of heavy dry snow which is drifting, the road was gritted twice last night but no tarmac to be seen. the land is not a white out yet as the wind is drifting most of the snow. BITTER in the wind when going to my wood pile.

Just nipped out to the supermarket - light rain going in, heavy sleet coming out. The effects of evaporative cooling, but it does generally feel on-the-cusp.
we have wet snow up in Ludford now.
