I bet the MOD thread is in full knicker wetting mode this morning then??
Indeed, with the usual posts complaining about the snow starved south after large swaths of the south getting lying snow yesterday. There’s a reason it’s it’s called the mad thread

As I have only been in the area for a couples years can I ask a question regarding easterlies for the East Midlands area. Do they usually pay off or do you normally get narrow bands of showers as seen these last few days. When I was I Kent and has been seen this time around the whole of Kent is under a massive band. We’re we just unlucky this time or is this the norm and we do better from other setups? Many thanks James

I can’t believe how badly our part of Lincs, and the region in general has done out of this set-up. Barely a flake overnight. Luck of the draw I suppose.
Yeah been crap here as well, literally on the edge of all the snow bands yesterday and last night, watching the radar was painful.

A month ago I would have been one of those southerners! The weather always seemed frustrating down there, snow always North of the m4 etc. My only conclusion is that I’ve brought the snow shield with me. Sorry guys.
Yeah I feel your pain i moved up a couple of years ago, had snow a few miles north an and south of me this winter and going by the models looks like I’m going to miss out again this time.
I’m just going to watch the radar from tonight I think and have a break from the models and threads good luck to all the get the white stuff

Thanks! just thought I’d ask as I thought the chance of snow for my area had all but gone for Sunday but it shows snow for quite a large area of Lincolnshire on that.

Hi all moved up from Kent to Lincolnshire a couple of years ago. Just swapped the mod thread to regional midlands thread and couldn’t quite understand why they were say no snow when to me looked like the models were showing snow for my region, apparently they said being as I’m in Lincolnshire is should be in this thread is that correct?
