We have between 16cm and 20cm in the Elham valley and it’s still snowing. Easily the biggest snow event here since March 2013.

Got a pretty good covering here in east Kent! It’s early days yet. Plenty of time for snow across the region.

The snow is starting to pitch in places. Temperature should be below 0C in the next 45 minutes or so.

It’s pretty gusty. My anemometer broke this morning so I can’t give you an exact speed. Small powdery flakes that are swirling around in the wind.

Snowing heavily now and the temperature is dropping rapidly. About 0.1C every 5 minutes.

I can confirm it’s now snowing in the Elham valley. Temp is 1.2C.
