Glasgow Airport is my local weather station and it’s been working hard this summer recording all this heat and sunshine the rain gauge will no doubt be getting a workout soon enough but this driest, sunniest and warmest summer since records began has been memorable! I noticed this same tower yesterday evening. Some of the clouds were amazing here yesterday afternoon/evening. It would be interesting to know how tall the storm clouds got if anyone knows? I took this snap just before the storm hit in Paisley late afternoon.

@Glaswegianblizzard I can confirm your suspicions that it was biblical rain for about an hour this afternoon in Paisley/Linwood. Now cleared to this stunning sunset. BTW Hi everyone I have been a long time viewer of this forum but only joined today. I do love a good ⛈
