Starting in Windermere again, quite heavy.
-
Stopped in Windermere.
-
Snow shield is holding.
-
It's pivoting around us !
-
How can that HUGE band of ppn to the West not make it to the NW?
-
Why is the precipitation fizzling out when it reaches Barrow-in-Furness?
-
Lost amber for our region, oh well.
-
Yellow warning was updated on met about 40 minutes ago, but amber one still from Weds.
-
To be honest this is one weekend I don't want it, I have to drive to Pudsey.
-
Just my opinion that Cumbria and the Lakes will see some snow but nowhere as much as the rest of the region as it is right on the edge of the snowfall, whereas the rest of the region is right in the firing line of the front.
Does anybody agree?
Are you completely ignoring the yellow warnings? We will get snow, maybe not as much as the east, but we will.
Windermere is well in the orange band anyway.

Isn't it every millimetre of rain is a CM of snow?
-
I think you need to brush up on your geography.Cumbria and the Lakes missing out here, so unlucky!!
-
Snowing properly in Windermere now and settling.
-

*dragging the thread kicking and screaming back on topic*
Can anyone help me make a decision?
-
Thunder, lightening, heavy rain.

Your DIY set up looks very interesting, do you not have the build documented in pictures or a 'how to' guide?
-
Hahah awsome.
Is making a DIY AWS a feasable option?
-
It's just annoying when you can't get all the features you want in one unit.

Sorry for keep bumping my own thread.
The transmission time on the WS1600 is 4.5s which is way way better than the other models, but doesn't include PC connectivity, is there anything out there for the £100 budget that has a fast transmission time and PC connectivity? The WS2300 with it's 32s transmission time sounds really poor now compared to the WS1600.
-
How does the WS2300/2350 handle gusts during the 30s reporting period?
-
Owww water and electricity, I like that!!!
It was nearly game over the other day when the boiler started to leak
-
Just discovered that the WS2350 is infact the same as the WS2300 but just with upgraded anemometer, looks like that'll be the one.

Had about 5 or more inches here and it's still coming down heavy.
