the met have got our temps on the south coast during the day on friday at 10 degrees C!!!! Shurely shome mistake.....I know we probably won't get snow, but 10 degrees? thats mad.....

Just had another downpour here with two masive flashes of lightning and loud rumbles of thunder!! Dyng away now tho' - it seems that thunder is so much more common in the winter now than when I was a girl....

One bright flash of lightning and rumble of thunder about 20 minutes ago - no rain or anything - shows up on the sferic from the isle of wight!!

heavy rain and lightning woke me at about 6.30 - didn't hear any thunder but I may have mised it! followed by 6 flashes without thunder - B)

torrential rain accompanied by lightning and thunder at about 10.30 this morning! also a squally storm at 5 pm with two rumbles of thunder....great for November!!!!

great little storm late last night - several bright flashes of lightning and rumbles of thunder, with hail and heavy rain! wonderful suprise, but i had seen the sfloc in the channel earlier.....

Well coolish (14c) and cloudy here however the isle of wight storm tracker has a pretty good Tstorm about 60 miles south east of the coast - looks like it will miss us but could hit sussex???!!!!

Storm just after dawn, preceded by impressive downpour and then good period of heavy rain. Regular lightning with some very close, and some strong language too at that time in the morning. 13mm!
Acouple of rumbles of thunder heard - first this year! but bright sunshine now ,,,,

A thunderstorm has just made landfall across Lymington and the isle of Wight - I watched it come in over poole and swanage from about 10 .15 until it arrived a few minutes ago. Rain has started to increase but the lightning frequency has decreased. Some spectaclar forks into the sea earlier!!

well we werent going to miss out - so we drove up to find the snow! Actually there was lying snow at Rownhams as we went through at about 11am... so we went off on a snow chase, and ended up in the Chilterns, 80 odd miles away from our home on the coast...it was gorgeous!!! Here is one of the pics - it was pouring with rain on the way back down the M3 and melting the lying snow.
I've seen SNOW!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
