I walk to the bus stop (approx 1 mile), first bus to the station & let the train take the strain to London (35 miles), I then walk from Victoria to Oxford Circus (approx 20mins) & then do it all again on the return journey - this I do 5 times a week.
Plus I do not have a car.
There has been some very interesting ways of getting to and from work and would agree with previous comments concerning working from home (do this on a rare occasion) is the way to go in reducing the overall environmental impacts created by all.

Currently in Medway it is -0.4c, got down to -2.4c overnight, foggy first thing, which is now slowly lifting,

Last night was the forth night in a row we have had a frost.

I fear that when Wilma has finished there the destruction will be many many times worse than those pics, it is awesome to see a storm like this in full flow, but not when lives are at risk and so many livelyhoods effected. We've seen enough of this this year.
Could take some time before we get word of how they fare on the Yucatan I think.
I am sure you will all join me in thoughts and send blessings to them all.

We maxed at 30.6 this afternoon, and also it feels a lot more hunid than it actual is, but the we have crsytal clear blue skies, a light breeze which has made a pleaasent day

Been snowing now since i got home from work about 7pm, sort of followed me from Central London, a good covering now here in Larkfield.
