Had the most severe storm in a long time, contineous thunder and lightning and torrential rain.
I chased this storm along with my brother (driver) and pulled up a few times to catch some fork lightning, while im typing this, the IOW radar is showing another cell in the channel, not sure whether thats heading my way or what. But here's hoping

Had a VERY severe thunderstorm at about 8PM, completely red sky.
Lightning was every 5seconds or so, and on playback of some footage it came REALLY close to the house. So close it has shocked me, but i never realised until the playback.
I'll cut the video when i have access to brothers video editing machine and i'll get it online for others to see.

Had quite a few rumbles this morning at about 10/11AM
Other than that nothing, but the StrikeAlert keeps beeping away to itself so hopefully some more are on the way.

The 2nd cell i've had is still going strong, it's been going for about 45minutes now.
Constant lightning and thunder, and a bit of heavy rain mixed in.

Just awoke to a Thunderstorm which began at approximately 4:55AM, although the StrikeAlert did pick it up about 30minutes before it arrived, with its constant beeping which awoke me :lol:
Although the storm was disappointing with about 4 Lightning Strikes.
However it appears a larger cell is on its way through here in about an hours time according to the 0500hrs MetO Radar.
I will have to double check that quickly, but as im typing there is more rumbling and lightning strike occuring.

The cloud we do have looks like it wants to dump a lot of rain so if i go out i think ill be taking a coat.
