I have mown the front lawn today. Slightly cooler, but just as humid. Roll on tomorrow with the cooler(hopefully) conditions. Had enough of this muggy heat now. Need some fresh, cool air x

tonight
still some heavy showers around
a chance of one or 2 being heavy
not cold so windows still open
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
tomorrow
a breezy north east flow
this will veer northerly then north westerly late in the day but will then weaken
rain
starts dry
by 2pm
still dry but looks likely we could see some heavy local showers again
temps
up to 25 degrees inland
drop a couple on coasts
now cape
not much until 5pm
and 8pm
so again like today these showers look to be triggered by heat and unstable air
ie we need the sun to come out for a while early on
some will be lucky and some will not
watch the radar from after mid day
i will update sunday tomorrow
if you hate this humidity it looks to recede monday on but expect more rain too
have a good weekend
john
Thanks as ever John x

Hello everyone,
Humidity is disgusting! lol.
Lovely to be back on the forum, Stealing my neighbour's wi fi (with their permission of course).
The coming week looks hot again. Nice if you like it. I don't actually. Too much for me, but enjoy if you do x

Hello my friends,
Groggily back from having the flu. Twas bl**dy awful, but great for the figure!
The weather has been very obliging and after disgracing itself over winter has managed to be rather lovely.
Ground frost this morning. My little seedlings were shocked, but survived thankfully. Enjoy this lovely weather everyone

Good afternoon all,
Lovely bright sunny and warm today, with a touch of low level cloud. Very still, not breeze at all. Take care

Good evening all, and especially to you Tams,
Yes indeed, April is looking rather on the chilly side as you say. Rather late in the season to enjoy this sort of inversion for me, but we can't choose the weather.
The local country park has dried up nicely, but the dogs and me met up with a rather large bulldozer this morning shifting the piles of mud that had covered the pathways. Should keep him busy for a few weeks

Oh dear Ali, Poor Mr. P
Making the tea could be a dangerous occupation given his problems
Yes, low pressure asserting it's grip now., but as you stated, at least it won't be quite the washout as in previous weeks

Beautiful day and warmer than I was expecting in the sun. Tomato seedlings potted on with out injury to my back and painted the fence and wall all without back ache too. Not pushing it so lawn mowing tomorrow.
Loads of bumble bees and ladybirds out in the sun, hope a late cold snap doesn't appear now, would be the end of many of them.
Popped out to buy some yeast and noticed everyone walking around with a spring in their step and seem happier. Amazing what a sunny day can do to lift the spirits.
Yes Tadpole, I've noticed lots of bees and ladybirds too. As you say, I hope they haven't emerged too early.
Which type of tomato are you growing this year.
Ps.... fab, warm afternoon

Hello Mr. Pike,
Yes I'm fairly well at the moment thank you apart from my stupid back. Hope all is good in your world .
Just been back reading, and BB, like you, I would give anything to be able to return to work and I think that is the hardest part to accept, that your brain is able but your body isn't. But as you say, life goes on and we muddle through. Take care

Good evening friends,
Now isn't this the most glorious weather? Been gardening like mad but have ended up shuffling around as I ended up hurting my back. Such a fool!
Lovely to see it's set to continue for a good while too.
Enjoy the sunshine peeps

Good afternoon all,
Wishing you a wonderful birthday BJK
Have a lovely stroll BB...enjoy
Took my dogs over local park this morning and the sun was soo warm and lovely. Definitely spring in the air. Really deep puddles still and some were full of frog spawn. I hope the little froglets make it before the puddles dry up!
Hints of warmer and drier days thankfully

Hi all,
Not been a bad weekend weather wise although a tad chilly. It's so nice to see and hear that the flood water is receding from various parts of the region.
Bring on the warmth and sunshine .

We have never met but my thoughts are with you lovely people today. Life is very hard at times and people get dealt with a very unfair hand. Best wishes and big strength sent to you x
