Some heavy echoes on the radar near Taunton and if I’m not mistaken that looks like it’s heading straight for Weston, surely it’s snow this time

I’m liking the look of the intensity coming up through Devon and Somerset, at least it’s not having to come over the Bristol Channel. Fingers crossed we might see a centimetre or two.

Still appears to be moving east. Think we might actually see something from this.
I'm suprised Jay hasn't been on asking if it's going to snow in Cardiff.

Gfs has ppn in Bristol channel moving NE due to the impending front ... but we will see if we get lucky
Looking at the radar it appears to be moving directly east at the moment. looking at Weston we might just get lucky

Have a look at the welsh thread some are getting snow from the PPN coming up the Bristol channel

Just ran the net weather radar and some of that ppn in the Bristol channel seems to be intensifying and heading directly towards the east of our region

I have never laughed so much in all my life, the last few pages have had more ups and down than I have ever seen in the 5 or 6 years that I have been following you lot. I think you're all amazing, dedicated and absolutely bonkers. Keep up the good work but please for you're own sanity and mine slow down. All good things come to those that wait as they say.

Does anyone now if this precipitation will intensify when it gets into the Bristol channel? still most most unexpected but great all the same.

Just looked into the various threads to get the latest updates and it looks like war had broken out this evening. I would just like to add that the input from Ian F has been exeptional over the last week and I would hope that tonights nonesense will not mean an end to any future post from a man that has brought sense and reason at a time of great exitement for many.

Thankfully I finished work at 1130hrs but the term 'thankfully' never seems so apt when scraping ice off my car at 0335hrs and assuming the recent unsolicited role of ice-rallying Vauxhall test driver on the streets of north Bristol. Tomorrow promises more of the same. I fully expect minima way under the -3C our UKMO MOS suggests for centre of urban Bristol tonight. It's already -5C in parts of east Somerset....
Thanks for the update Ian. Drive carefully, I think we will be needing alot more of your input over the coming days.

I think come the weekend it wont be snowmageddon as the charts show now but more in the form of showers!!that band of snow for saturday keeps shifting south!!
