Well I am in the Leicester triangle, and it's definitely snowing here!

Lots of snow in Ashby, then suddenly went from heavy snow to rain a few mins ago. A good few cms.

About 3-4cms here in Ashby. Kids have had a great time in the garden this morning!

My garden in Ashby de la Zouch at 10am this morning. Also some of the neighbours gardens, and the field behind, I don't live in a mansion!

Well, I've just been for a run across the fields behind my house, and it's beautiful out. Warm, and sunny, and a total mud bath where the snow has melted, managed to run in some snow at the National Cycle Centre where there was still places of over an inch thick. Gorgeous views!

7cms measured on the picnic table. The middle and upper schools closed here.

Ashby de la Zouch has had a fair amount of extra snow, maybe 2+ inches. Enough that I'm not going into work right now, maybe later when a few more people have churned up the road. Total blanket across the estate.

Here in Ashby its still rain, but the temperature has dropped from 3.8 to 2.8 in the last 20mins.

Here in AShby we had 10mins of snow just after 7pm, then its been sleety rain ever since.

Its still snowing here in Ashby, any paths that were cleared a few hours ago completely covered again.

Here is Ashby we've had another few cms today, but also some melt as temperatures have been up to 1.3 at points. Currently 0.7. We have not seen proper size flakes at any point in the snow events of the last week. Yet we have around 15cm or more of lying snow in our garden. I don't think I've ever seen snow muc snow lying from such small flakes. Its heavy here at the moment, but still mostly fine flakes.

There has been at least 6cm of fresh snow here in AShby on the surfaces that were clear this morning, but is more in a lot of places. Still plenty of falling snow.

A cm or so in Ashby de la Zouch, and coming down enough to cause difficult driving conditions, most side roads covered. I really cant believe that a weather warning hasn't been issued. It's been bad here for at least an hour now and two hours since it started.

Here in Ashby its technically been snowing for 2 and half hours. However, at the rate of around 1 flake every 30 seconds, it's hard to tell.

Our weather station in Ashby-de-la-zouch recorded -9.8 last night!
