  4. Hi there. I haven't posted for a while - but have a question about my new WS 2500 weather station, purchased from skyview systems.

I'm really happy with the base unit, which is touch screen. The readings are all very accurate when compared to my manual weather station which I run along side the electronic version I now have. It also came with PC evaluation software and a datalogger, which is supposed to enable recordings to be stored while the computer is switched off. I've installed this, but it only seems to be picking up the wind and temperature/humidity readings. The rainfall and pressure is on zero - even though the base unit is giving a continuous readout.

There also seems to be no sunshine duration availability on the PC, even though sunshine is recorded onto the base unit. Can anyone help? I'm probably not doing something right, though if the datalogger is picking up something for 2 sensores, it should in theory pick up the others.

  8. Evening everyone,

Well what a scorcher, top temperature of 30.8 here, and wall to wall sunshine in deep blue skies, wow, but with low due points (6c at 14:00hrs) and low humidity, not to bad really, a different story tomorrow I think, as the humidity begins to increase.

    Paul

In sunny Rosliston, South derbyshire, I managed an impressive 32.7C this afternoon - and that was after a relatively cool min of 12.2C this morning. The low humidity (24% mid pm) has caused some very large daily temperature ranges. This could well change as the humidity goes up over the next couple of days.

Currently 21.9C here and a crystal clear sky!

  9. une summary from Rosliston, South Derbyshire (just including the basics for now I'm afraid):

    Mean temp: 16.7C (+2.4)

    Highest 28.2C on 10th.

    Rainfall 11.4mm (20%)

    Rain days: 5.

    Most in 24hrs: 3.7mm on 26th.

This was my warmest June on record, but warmest in local area since 1976. Driest June since 1995.

18C at the moment and refreshing after a muggy day. 13mm from the storm last night.

    Thank you!

Cooler here now and feeling fresher. Temp 18.1C with light winds. possibly down to 12-13C tonight?
