That is a FANTASTIC video. Now I know what "gunshot" thunder really is!
I do hope you guys join severestudios.com next year. If you'd been streaming yesterday you'd be internet stars today :-). The nearest chaser was a fair way behind the storm chasing it east and he didn't catch until after dark (if at all). Did see some golf ball hail though!
I watched the Stuttgart storm evolve live on sxstudio's "moderator" feed where Kory & co. show different realtime GR3 images and give commentary on them, plus relay the latest news and streams from the field. The rotation on the Stuttgart cell was very impressive and it was a weird moment watching the little dot of Stuttgart move beneath it. Just a dot on a computer screen but you know that out there it's dark and there's probably a screaming tornado wreaking havoc and quite possibly killing :-(. I hear the damage there was pretty bad but happily no-one was killed.
BTW if you want to share better-quality video than Youtube offers try Vimeo. It's a similar kind of site but offers up to HD quality playback. It's popular with artists and cinematographers as the quality is much the highest of the video sharing sites.

Great pics Nick. If there's any more (or any juicy info about the SPC) I'd love to see/hear them!
Stu, that was a heroic effort to get on that cell. I was tracking you racing north in gr3 and didn't think you were going to make it -- how wrong I was! Nice cam stream too.

His username is "Michael Fish" and he has indeed posted right here in this forum (only the once though).
Weird, the Telegraph hasn't got any more updates since day five. I wonder what that's about?

Thank you

Is it possible to change my name? I used to use "Dan100" on t'interweb, but prefer Dan G now. If it's not possible for me to do it myself (and I've had a good look through my controls), could a board mod or owner do it for me please?

Just in case you guys are wondering what I've been up to, I've been battling what I suspect is food poisoning and chasing has not been easy.
I was looking for you on spotternetwork and was wondering where you were! Sorry to hear you're ill and hope you recover quickly. Even if you're not eating try to keep the fluids going in -- I had the vomiting bug last year and the dehydration and headaches were the worst thing. Must be twice as bad with the Texan heat.
Sorry to hear that NathBTW We are also at Sherman (Tx) at the Hampton Inn, we are off to Chilli's in the next half an hour, so if you fancy meeting up we will all be in there until late.

Paul, any chance you could join spotternetwork.org so we could track you live? Nathan and Stu are on there and it's fantastic to be able to watch them (and many others) pursue the storms in realtime in GRLevel3.

Dennis Sherrod is getting a great view of the cell which is now SE of Sherman.

That's the one with the tornado warning too so it's worth keeping as eye on his stream
Yup, got his stream on live and watching his progress.
We need to encourage Paul & co. to join spotternetwork.org so we can track them in realtime! Stu and Gorky are on there.

Hi guys,
I showed a number of you the "UK->US reporting" blog I built a couple of weeks ago. Right now it's still in test mode but I'll get it cleaned up pronto. (The idea is to create a central point so everyone back here can keep up to date on the progress of all the teams out there.)
If you're in the US and want to join in just add this address to your outgoing report mails:
ukusreporting@googlemail.com
Paul can I have permission to copy your first few reports over from here?
Dan G
PS Paul are you on spotternetwork.org?

Where are you headed Paul? I'd take Shawnee OK, east of OKC, to bank on isolated storms in better chase country than the higher T-risk in MO.
