Snow still very heavy in St Neots, West Cambs.. This was the scene at 8am this morning, and despite a few brief intervals it's coming down just as heavy now.
I think this will catch a lot of people out today travelling, as the snow started after most people would had left for work and the roads are getting a lot worse... No sign of gritters yet

heaviest snowfall so far this winter currently in South Cambs. Aprroximately 2 cm's lying and snow continuing to fall moderately to heavy.

Heavy snow now falling in South Cambs/Beds border. Trying it's hardest to stick to roads/pavements but only managing on the grass at the minute...

Fairly heavy snow shower now in South Cambs - blue sky and sunshine long gone, very dark grey, heavy looking clouds for the time being.....

Very heavy snow shower at the moment in South Cambs, has been snowing for approx 10 minutes and settling. If I get the chance, pics to follow.

!'m in Kempston, Bedfordshire and it has just stopped snowing there is about 1cm on the ground and the air temp at the moment is -0.8. I think looking at the radar that's our lot
:shock: lol i have just had about 4 inches and its still snowing!
I'm in Cambridgeshire, never, never expected this! They said Norfolk only , on the bbc forcast. They havn't got a clue! :lol:
Matty, where abouts are you in Cambs mate? I'm in south Cambs, near Bedfordshire border and have only woken to a dusting :roll:

No snow in cambridge yet today. at least where i'm at. Temp nearing -2 C. Sky should be relatively clear, can see the moon from my window. The precipitation is just to the east of us, covering Norfolk and Suffolk. Hopefully it will move inland enough to give us some dusting, before the next band comes pushing down from up north.

Ditto that for South Cambs, I've been tracking that precip to the east for the last couple of hours and wishing it would push slightly further west :roll: ...

Very very heavy blizzard conditions here in south Cambridgeshire, I have not seen snow like this before in my life!! Pictures to follow shortly

We have gad around 3 to 4 inches hear in Cambridgeshire, very good night. More snow to come perhaps for this afternoon, its turned cloudy.
Alot of roads were blocked.

I read with interest your snow report for Cambridgeshire.. Where abouts are you in Cambs as I'm in South West Cambs, close to the Beds border (16 miles from Cambridge) and we only got an inch
