Five minutes of light snowfall here at about half Four. I think tonight may bring some surprises!

Just driven the three miles home from Ashwater and in the course of the journey had very heavy snow that turned to hail and then sleet by the time I got home. Reckon it could be white here in the morning at this rate

Had a bit of everything thrown at me weather wise on my journey home from work today. In the course of 23 miles from Callington to home I drove through rain, hail, sleet, snow, sunshine, sleet and then snow again. Temp started at 6 and dropped to 1.5 after just 4 miles. Crazy!!

Got a covering here now and when I last checked 5 minutes ago it was still snowing steadily. Wasn't expecting this but not complaining. Will see what the morning brings. Hope it's enough for a snowball fight at least with my 3 and 4 year old sons!

Got a light dusting of snow here now and more clouds approaching.....wondering if I may wake up to a decent covering in the morning.....

Snow stopped .....not enough to settle anywhere.... Sun came out again but next area of dark grey sky approaching so anticipating further white stuff in the next few minutes!

Sun has gone, sky is dark and snow has just started falling here. Getting steadier all the time. Flakes flying around in the strong wind. Doubt it will settle but nice to see a bit after a snow starved Winter!

Cold and snowy is great but just grey, windy and cold is MEH!!! Bring back Spring, I was enjoying the sunshine!!

Drove across the top of Dartmoor late this morning and got caught in very heavy snowfall near Princetown. Was nice to see but a bit hairy to drive in!! Back home now and it's cold, windy and drizzly. Fire lit and waiting to see what comes out of the sky later!

I know..... Just had pretty much given up on seeing any this winter and was looking forward to warmer times...... Still, on a positive, my son is 3 this weekend and will be so excited to see some snow! I see our percentages are now at 95% risk for Sunday and Monday now!

I like snow - a lot..... But I don't want it now..... I have been enjoying the ground being dry, seeing the sun and watching flowers come up in the garden.... So for the first time ever I am not overjoyed to see I have an 81% snow risk for Sunday!! I yearn for balmy summers days now.....some of us are never satisfied!!

Well I got all excited this afternoon having seen a bit of snow falling but...... It stopped late afternoon and there's been nothing since. I'm guessing it'll be icy in the morning but that will probably be the only white I see. Bit disappointed as I love snow and we've been spoilt here and had at least some snow for six of the last eight Winters since we moved here.... Aww well here's hoping February delivers something more substantial. Enjoy it, those who have it

Definitely much more snow than rain now!! Quite heavy too. Only bummer is the ground is now wet from the rain so it's unlikely to settle

It's like an ice rink here... Frozen rain and sleet and has just started raining moderately (Ashwater) . Yet again we missed the snow!
