almost blizzard conditions here in widnes but rained before sn not sticking

around a foot of snow in runcorn about a mile from me and when i got home in widnes the snow was only lying at about 7 inches :unsure: blizzard conditions here but still had to got school anybody think that i could get anymore :drinks:lying at about 3 inches on the path and road 7 inches on grass

There is a 60-70% chance you will, if not higher! How long it lasts for before turning to rain though is a different question!

I'm guessing I might see some snow here Thurs... Met O give 10-15cm as possible snow depths across midlands area - most likely higher areas like Stoke. Still, a covering will be nice to see again! Funny, if I get another covering that'll make this very mild winter m :ch snowier than last years cold (well average) winter. No suprise really - dry is no good for snow either...

The GFS6z would give you around 10cm on thursday.

The GFS6z seems to be more marginal for southern areas.

freezing fog here now very thick i woke up this morning to a light dusting of about half a centermetre first of the year does anybody think that liverpool will have any more today thanx

yipeeeeeeee snowed this morning and has left around half of centermetre on the ground current temp -1c

extremely harsh frost last night temp fell down to about -4c on the car about an inch of frost currently 6c and lovley blue skys and a few clouds in the distance

are we the only place who has had no snow in the uk this year we havnt seen a single flake cant belive it

almost certainly freezing fog or the effects of it, Liverpool Airport have freezing fog.

light snow flurrys here in widnes only a few flakes no bigger than the end of a pin nothing significant you can hardly see it :lol: :lol:

Reigate looked very much like Bookham at 7am this morning - especially over Priory Park.

We have had about an inch of snow in Reigate and amazingly (once my train got me to work 80 minutes late!) I am surprised to see settled snow in London!

very wet snow last night didnt even settle on the cars but as the temp dropped it turned more too rain

Its snowing in Norwich. Not sure when it started but just looked out and everywhere is white. Hope it lasts, but that splat on the radar doesn't look all that big. Still magical though.

Light to moderate wet snow, not settling.

same here not had any snow all year were the only place who have had no snow not evenn a flurry all we get is horrible wet fine snow that wont even stick on the grass or cars omg!!!!!!!!!!!!

Steady light snow for the last twenty or so minutes, and because it's sticking immediately there's already a distinctly 'icing sugar' look to things. But will it get heavier ?????
