Absolutely stunning run and with ECM upgrading too surelt were reaching a consensus on the jackpot zones Sunday-Monday BBC forecast looked awesome also mentioned it continuing into Monday which matches these charts pretty well!

Could be a decent spell for us in the SE.

That’s not taking into account the potential of a streamer setting up Monday into Tuesday.

The PPN is going to lift out & the Meto warning will be a semi bust being about 50 -75 Miles to far SE - cant really be to harsh with that-

Hes a radar grab - the ppn has been converging on the SE  due to combination of the upper air cold pool & the wave-

The upper air cold pool & associated instability is exiting the stage to the left & so the PPN is going with it. If your in the green its over already - If your red your safe for a while yet-..

This is 100% down to the 200 / 250 mile northward shift of the cold pool as the convection on the northern quadrant is epic !  ( Pic below ) - look what you would have won...

5cm here. Fat lady has turned up in her cab.

The only hope for the kent SE is for some shallow convection to fill in the gap now ---

Such a shame for us in Kent

Yep slap bang in the middle of that

Target is north of 10 inches -

The only frustration I have ( all be slight ) is we have seemingly lost a day of Easterlies to be replaced by SEasterlies- but cannot grumble share the wealth !!!!!!- The SE flow can still deliver with the peak -16c air arriving in the SE flow...

    Steve,

Are you really that optimistic for us here in NW Kent? 10 inches by end of Wednesday?

    Best

    Steve,

ill be interested to hear how you get on driving home later.

I’ll be heading from London to New Barn via the A20.

Do do you think I’ll need to plan a different route?

    Cheers

Im optimistic about a dusting Monday- having that bit of elevation should support a more wintry picture !

Im also expecting a few flakes tomorrow- im only 20 miles from the hirlam snow zone so still in with a shout...
