aaaaaapshireCan you add your location to your profile?
Looking like there is more heavy snow to come for parts of the NE for at least the next hour
-
i like it in here, it's snowier than my thread20 actually, find it hilarious why you venture into this thread to post sarcastic comments
-
Need an amber warning down here, it's snowing and if you look closely a few grains have settled on the bin, hopefully southampton airport won't close. It would be quite a distraction for the saints seeing all that funny white stuff. 2-0 the toon.

Still rain in Basingstoke but with reports of snow in twford and thorpe I can only be 20 miles away from the snow line
-
Hopefully when it hits us it will be cold enoughgood luck tonight guys- if only that channel snowbomb hit!
-
Raining in Basingstoke. At least the precipitation has arrived, just needs to turn to snow now. No chance. Kate, the king is dead long live the king.

We were top notch, like you say according to the media it was all down to City being off there game, like Aresnal, chelsea, everton etc.....Haha I can but hope! Certainly enjoyed yesterday although as usual all I read is how bad City were,
After that result , to wake up to a bit of snow would top off the weekend nicely!

So why hasn't the nae picked up on this new development that's meant to take place? And the bbc graphics also don't show a seperate feature , they just show the snow sinking south a bit and fizzling.

I don't know

Ah good, so I might just get something in Basingstoke then.Hants-Berkshire border area was progged at 12+cm snow in one solution earlier today hence we give this 30-40% chance as concern over ultimate correct outcome. Ditto re amounts parts of Wilts/SE Cotswolds.

So if i'm reading that right the low pressure over the South will bring snow back round in an arc which will leave Hampshire in a nice dry spot but the arc may will hit wiltshire???Because it rotates south again as secondary low centre focuses to S of England and one over Wales no longer dominates. Plus shortwave then runs from France up across the cut-off vortex and through S England. This latter feature of vorticity max is crucial re 06z NAE becoming reality or not.

Will do. You took that very well, fair do's.hmmmm well done a good performance.we are in a transitional period :-/ keep us updated about snow :-)

Live in Basingstoke and on the little hill at Farleigh wallop there was settling snow, I think tomorrow I will be getting snow.

Still struggling with thisNetWeather are predicting NO snow at all tomorrow but looking at met office and many other forecasters they can nearly certain rule out snow tomorrow for my location....
-
Afraid so, already got a new manager, some argentian fella. Awful decisionWHAT????!!!!!
And it's true. Sorry, off-topic but I absolutely cannot believe this. Yes, and a great day ruined.
-
About 3 inches here, a great day has been ruined by the sacking of Nigel Adkins by our moronic chairman. Boo.
-
I reckon the Birmingham area is gonna get hours of heavy snow, the radar shows it not really moving away unlike for my area in the south it's pushing through.
-
I see. GoodyNo, he said the Chief is sticking with the NAE modifications after having seen the GFS and UKMO runs. So discard the NAE - for now.
