  1. The ppn over Cornnwall, although fairly heavy isnt covering a large area - cant imagine that would produce a lot of snow if cold enough. Is the main feature for tonight/tomorrow what's appearing over SW Ireland?

From the forecast I saw earlier the low splits into 2 and the southern part forms into a low which brings the threat of snow looking at the radar this is possibly evident now with the figure of 8 rainband forming if you see what I mean?
  2. For the Cornish people on here I think we are still within a chance of seeing a flake or 2 tonight bearing in mind late last night there was an hour of light snow in st ives, a handy little weather station to keep an eye on is Perranporth currently 0.2 and dewpoint of -2.7 easily found on google under Perranporth Weather Station its based at the private airfield so its quite reliable.

  3. Lol already showers from the stalling front into Cornwall rather worrying or good ?? as the GFS doesn't have any PPN anywhere near the West country for the next 12 hours , If we get into a situation where the PPN beats the warm sector that would be great ... Worth mentioning as that is what the radar is currently showing and any early PPN that got in tonight would be snow

The Showers are non- existent as the radar says they are directly overhead of me and nothing here!! also worth taking note if the radar is slightly inacurate their position is how they are starting to move from north to south.
