  3. Rain here has stopped - but it's getting dark again - looking at radar the band is indeed heading this way and then the radar has nothing so hopefully the sun will come out and dry it up

Correction - just started raining again.... very heavy.... torrential and gettiing heavier

  4. well i have to say this is the most extreme storm i have seen in years, lightning every 2 or 3 seconds very intense booming thunder, and the clouds are rising and moving around in all directionscc_confused.gif

very intresting to watch, never seen clouds move around like this before drinks.gif

To quote Freddy and the boys.... Thunderbolt and lightning - very very frightening me / Gallileo, Gallileo, / Gallileo, Gallileo, / Gallileo Figaro - magnificoooooooo

In Edinburgh just now - it's a bit like a Lord of the Rings Mordor film set with sound effects - been going for about an hour so far... can't see the clouds moving as seem to be underneath - glad I am not landing at the airport!!

    Rainfall is pretty impressive too

Hope it doesn't head for T in the Park

  5. The Dumas cell will pass over the team's current position - attached radar is a bit behind. Rapid development on this one.

Looks impressive on tornadoVideos.net as well as the Netweather team - shame no sound - enjoyed that before - great viewing though!
