From what I've read over on TWO, there is a second weather front ahead of the main stuff, which is not shown on the FAX charts. The main precipitation and the one that we should be concentrating on, is over Northern Ireland at present
And boy does it look a doozy on the radar!

the binmen are tossers, but regards our local farmers i think they have done a crackin job regards my area.
Yep, full bin still sitting at the end of the drive since last Tuesday, but the local farmer has been and cleared the main road and entrance into our estate at least twice today.

just spent two hours with neighbours digging out street, don't know why as another inch already covering it! could be another day off tomorrow if this keeps up!!
Dare I say it, but It's actually getting a bit ridiculous now!

In the middle of a heavier burst in Consett right now, too. Snow's laying faster than the snow-shovelled gang from our estate can clear it!

Hi all. Long time lurker, sixth time poster, from Consett.
I can report that the snow here is now "Beagle deep" (he's a long legged Beagle, too!), with no apparent end in sight.

Consett, Co Durham strikes lucky again! We woke to about an inch of snow this morning.
Although it was forecast, I really didn't believe it after the temps of the last few days.
Unfortunately it didn't last long, and was gone within a few hours of sunrise. There has been a few more wintery showers since, but nothing substantial.

Buried in a six foot snow drift!
I can confirm that the snow in Consett is something else, this evening!
