HELP!

Not sure where was best to post this...

I got a weather station for Christmas, very nice, but... the temperatures its recording seem wrong; Its currently reading -0.4c... surely thats not right? It only went down to -4.6c last night.

Where have you all positioned your outside sensors? Mine is stuck on a window frame, about 1.5m from the ground. Is this okay? I'm wondering whether its too warm there...

I want to record the minima you are all recording!

Your best bet is above your lawn or something at that height, mine is at the bottom of the garden but it's wireless - is yours wireless?

They say to position it above a natural environment, so not patio or something, hence your window frame may not be the best place.

yeah, sleety. you can see it on the windscreen as i was driving. Melted quickly tho.

I cant see this turning to much fun unless these temps drop off soon. ( Although, wasnt it progged to be snow form midday onwards anyway ? )

Temp is dropping now so maybe...down to 3.5C from 3.9C

your temp seems odd, im recording 1.9oC and it's very windy but then again it always is in cleeve, anytime now

I'm recording 3.8C too and dew point of 2C.

I think Gloucester and Cheltenham will do really well out of this.

As for us Bristolians I dont think we could be in a more marginal place

Temps starting to drop off again now, was below freezing and then up to 0.6C and now 0.1C. I just know I will be peeking through the curtains throughout the night!

Yes seems that way, just checked it and no snow forecast at all - also noticed the 'amount' of precipitation is not as much as the earlier runs.

Does anyone know if there would be any disadvantage in buying this product from the States?

I did find a site where it was going to cost about £140 with delivery included in that price, I have since lost the link so can't post until I retrieve it. This price is far cheaper than the £310 I believe it will be selling for over here once it is available.
