    Convective Inhibition (CINH)

    Capping Layer

    Basically, CINH is the opposite of CAPE - it represents a stable layer in the atmosphere which prevent lifting of air parcels from the boundary (surface) layer. Rather than air parcels rising, they are instead sinking once they reach this stable layer. It's measured in the same way as CAPE (j/kg) and so the lower the figure, the stronger the CINH or "cap".

    Yes mate tap water is no good really just keeps the plants alive. Worst year for sometime for storms around here, bring back the 1970 s and 80s had some real crackers then.
