Hmmm so you guys are saying it’s not a good day to be travelling to London and back by train tomorrow? normally I’d love snow but tomorrow, it’s not gonna cause any disruption to the rail network or else lol

We Had some wet snow last night, but was more like sleety/hail mix this morning. Wee bit of snow hanging on but I’m sure it will be frozen solid later.

is there still a chance of further snow on Wednesday?

It is so so cold tonight, cannot get the house warm at all! Heating bumped up at 2.00 and I’m still freezing. I don’t think I’m cut out for this cold weather now, far too used to milder winters .

Bit disappointing to see tomorrow will be a sleety mess before it turns to snow into Sunday. However I suppose in the interest of Christmas deliveries, it might be better. 
 

I’m not  sure I’m following the model madness, as everyone is stressing about a breakdown, when I’m looking at snow potential weekend /next week !

Morning everyone, after a very lengthy break (sadly I lost my father earlier this year and I now care for my mum,so I don’t get much time ) I’m so pleased to be back at such an exciting time! Can’t believe the charts are still showing this very blocked scenario so early in the season . I’m very happy to be back watching and catching up with all your brilliant analysis.

Pretty windy here today , was out getting food shopping and just about blew the car door out my hand it was that windy ! 

The sun was out though and so I treated myself to a costa . I mean I’m never out these days lol this has been a first in a very long time ! It was kinda weird drinking a costa in a very empty shopping centre car park. (shhhh I did cross the Edinburgh boundary don’t tell )

Drifting overnight has caused local roads to be closed or very tricky to negotiate! Had to dig out DH this morning.

Wind definitely picking up now.

Stepped outside to feed my resident blackbird his morning cheese, oh wow it’s blooming freezing says -8 on phone app feels much colder than that . Some car read outs are at -13 here this morning ! 
 

I just love winters like this ! What a brilliant spell of weather .

Just stunning ! The snow is way over the boots depth ! Mind you wasn’t probably a good idea going out in my boots and a long dressing gown for photos lol

Spectacular this morning, not sure if the table depth is accurate due to wind scouring but it was at 22cm last measurement and we’ve had loads more overnight! 
 

ps is anyone a dentist - any ideas what to do with a loose implant ? DH is wondering how he might get to a dentist today
