Kasim Awan looks like we’ll miss out again then. The barest of temporary dustings overnight from the last event. Would love to see some decent snowfall leaving a covering here.

Wind is crazy here! Gusts sound and feel much worse than Sunday in our neck of the woods. House is creaking and I can here all kinds of banging outside.

I practically live in the sea! This is very good. I don't need 2foot to be happy.
That makes about 10 of us now
I’ve been the same. So lovely just to watch into coming down and everything turning white!

ECM 0z is very good because there is a westerly vector to the northerly flow but its so far out....
That would put me in a good spot for a change.

We have absolutely zilch snow here in Liverpool. Considering how bitter it was last night the frost isnt near as bad as it was yesterday.
Snap. Nothing here. So disappointed.

Is a successful snow event for low lying NW England some sort of ancient unicorn creature?
It seems so. Nothing but a few flakes of we snow here.

Had nothing here in L31 today. Thaw of frost in some places. Currently sitting just above freezing. So jealous of all the snowy places today - but happy for you all at the same time

Merseyside out of the warning
I really hope they’re wrong. Thought it was looking good for us there until I saw that.

These troughs really do capture my interest. The 18Z WRF has further intensified the system, producing 3-7cm widely across the region. This is going to be an exciting nowcast.
I’d be so happy for some settling snow, Kasim. Hope I’m in a decent spot for something.

Another good WRF... although marginal west of M6 after midnight. Have a hunch it won't be quite as marginal though.
I hope not Chris. I’d love to see some lying snow here into Sunday.
