Still coming down, powdery sort of stuff, although it's sliding off cars and you can hear dripping. Probably be gone before too long tomorrow
-
It's really fine stuff at the moment, it's giving some decent coverage though. Wonder if the flakes will get bigger at some point
-
I haven't been out to take a measurement yet, but i would guess its about 4/5 Inches and accumulating.
Is Hale up a mountain or something? Haha, you've got 4/5 inches and I've got a slight covering yet we're only like 5 miles apart, that's mental

Conditions have worsened here. Blowing full blizzard. Bt I haven't checked depth yet, but I'd suggest it must be about the same. Wind is horrific, the snow is blinding. Just got back from going to the supermarket. Everywhere is at a crawl. Can barely see 100m in front of you. There has to be a significant wind chill to this too. Very nasty conditions outside.
Still, this will keep intensifying through the evening and overnight. Could easily end up with projected 40CM+ at the intensity this is coming down. Winter wonderland out there right now.
Whaaat, it's basically been stopped here for ages

Looks like this is overrrr, what a letdown, barely have anything
-
The band looks like it's dying according to the met office rainfall radar
-
Kinda stopped here
-
How long does a stall last, could it decide at any moment that it's tired of chilling and doesnt like the area and sprint off somewhere

Liverpool Airport METAR going for moderate snow from 18:00 until 09:00 tomorrow.

More intense and bigger flakes now

Is everyone on here about 12, calling names and making sexual innuendos, weird... Why not get back to the actual topic
It's getting a bit heavier here again, still not sticking too well
-
Seems everyone east of me e.g. from Runcorn has heavy snow with massive flakes, whilst all I have is light snow with tiny flakes. Such small margins. I won't be getting much from this if it stays the same though, might be time to give up
-
my god i thought someone was throwing cotton balls around the snow is that big
Where abouts in Merseyside are you mate
-
Grounds slowly getting whiter, hope it picks up a bit though, gone a bit light
-
Looking at the rainfall radar and I'm struggling to see where the ppn is going to come from to keep this going. There's nothing there
-
Course it will.
It's definitely going to have to get much heavier here anyway, and keep going for a while
-
Really can't see this sticking at all
-
Decent bit of snow here, everything is wet though so nothing is sticking, hopefully it intensifies
-
Looks like theres a big yellow blob heading this way, I'm starting not to trust these radars now though cos most of the time it says theres something right above me and theres nothing falling
-
On and off snow here, getting very marginal though and not settling. No sleet or rain yet which is a very good surprise. If we can keep a layer of snow on the ground until 4-5pm then hopefully accumulation will be easy when the merged band arrives.
If it arrives...

North Wales must have been getting a hell of a battering with this, all the heavy stuff seems to just stop there and not move any further this way
-
Is there meant to be anything significant heading towards Liverpool today or tomorrow or will it just be light showers every so often now?
-
The front sort of went around us and we just got a bit of wet snow in the end, bit disappointing but oh well, it's nearly April
