bbc forecast for the west midlands
Headline:
Snow clearing northwards this evening. Mostly dry and bright Monday.
This Evening and Tonight:
Outbreaks of snow lasting into the evening, but clearing away northeastwards by or soon after midnight. Thereafter, a dry night with clear spells and turning frosty with patchy mist. Untreated surfaces are likely to become very icy.
Monday:
A frosty start with patchy mist, then a mostly dry, cold day with sunny spells. Thickening cloud and increasing wind bringing sleet or snow northwards to southern areas towards evening.
Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:
Heavy snow and strong winds Monday night clearing southeastwards on Tuesday. Thereafter, clear or sunny spells and scattered wintry showers. Sharp frosts and patches of fog night and morning.

i cant belive it, just been down the road and the roads have about 2cm on them this has fell in 5 mins:) still heavy been heavy for about1 and half hours now

after the wintry spell next week i rekon thats the last of the snow what are peoples views on this? some are warning a cold end to febuary but i doubt it

Forecasters got it horribly wrong for here and its always elsewhere that sees the best, never here.
Sunday may see something but i bet by tomorrow it will be forecast as rain. Utter disgrace.

Tbh im losing hope for Sunday now aswell, the charts may be better but the BBC Forecasts look like nothing heavy. No where neas much snow here as was forecast.

Does anyone think the cheshire gap will be born again over the next couple of days? We always do well out of that but it doesnt happen often.
