i live about 15 miles north of plymouth and we have rain

LOL no it's not that i am not satisfied but that sort of depth is nothing unusual up here.
Still nice to see though and we had more in the last snowfall recently.

just come out of plymouth they have a good couple of inches, seemed strange seeing plymouth all white and nothing here

snowing here, was quite wet but looking finer now, to warm for it to set

light snow here, temp 1.1 went up to 2.6 around 2:30 but still with the odd snow flurry

very light sleet here now, looks as though a thaw has started

Cadover bridge, appraoching from Plympton for me then...
they went through with a snow plow on thursday should be okay!!!!

Heavy snow to the north of Dartmoor, Holsworthy, Whiddon Down etc but pretty bad in the east as well. Best to check on the road conditions before going. Whiddon Down is on the A30 so should be OK, but if you were going over the top I'd forget it. Princetown was blocked in the week so I would think the road was pretty impassable to 2wheel drive.

Look at the radar on rain today.
You would think that it would be snowing in Plymouth wouldnt you, and maybe for some time??
I would say in the last 10mins i have counted 11 flakes - and the best bit - the temps is rising fast and is currenly 1.1oC.
Its gone beyond a joke now. Im pretty fed up with this now. I genuinely cant wait for Tuesday when it will be 7oC and i will know what the weather is going to be - wet/damp misty and crap.
There have been 3 snowfalls of between 12 and 18inches in Plymouth over the last 60 years. I will never ever understand how that ever happend.

same here, i can look out of the windows and see snow all around,dartmoor down to bodmin moor, here nothing on ground, was snowing until about 1 hour ago. ground to wet, air to warm

Apparently they called out the army last night to help with the cars on the A38, which remains closed still towards Exeter, and one lane open further down towards Plymouth.
Apparently snowing in parts of south Devon again... anyone confirm? Its blowing around a bit up here and very dark... going to take a walk in a bit, see what its like at the top of the village (1200feet) ... should be fun!
