looks like its rain for the whole south of England

Tomorrow Snow event could be interesting for Glasgow and East Kilbride because both are on the borderline for either sleet or snow

It does look like a whopping front. Here's how the 12z GFS handles it:
By 18h00 tomorrow here is the profile of the 850 temps and precipitation. Remember -5ºC and below at the height of the 850 temps (about 1500m up in the atmosphere) is an approximate yardstick for the difference between rain and snow:
<snip>
You got also take a note that the front is weakening as it approaches the British Isles, light to moderate snow for most.

Have a gander here too: http://www.netweather.tv/index.cgi?action=...s;type=fax;sess=
Charts here show different from my post above.

Afraid not mate. To be honest I'm not exactly the best at reading the charts and my negativity regarding snow is basically down to sheer pessimism!
Never mind found it: http://weather.noaa.gov/fax/otherfax.shtml

I very much hope that chart is correct EKB but I can't help but be dubious. Of course, I wouldn't be surprised if E.K got a foot of snow and all places around it are bone dry
Still find it strange that the MO haven't added us to the early warnings yet.
You got any links to the latest UKMO fax charts?
