MON: Mr Blue Sky.

ECML-Route-Weather Watch

Welcome to my Blog, bringing you my weather observations through North East Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, North Nottinghamshire, South Yorkshire, North Yorkshire and into the City of York during my daily commute from Melton Mowbray, by car and train.

Monday 4th February 2008:

Mr Blue Sky.

Ummm well the predicted cold snap last Friday and through the weekend didn't materialise in anything; unless you count the three snow flakes that fell in Melton Mowbray on Friday evening. Saturday was bright and cool, but I won't say the frost was that hard.

Onto today's commute to York. This morning in Melton Mowbray the temperature was 3.1'C at 06:30 and the weather overcast with some light drizzle. During the drive to Grantham the cloud and drizzle came and went. On the train heading north the cloud really cleared to leave a bright, blue sky morning.

Tomorrow; Strong wind and some persistent rain
