has anybody seen their long range forcast at 8.55 on an evening (not sure channel No) they are going for a very snowy Jan & Feb with the "beast from the east" sticking around most of winter, rain for the west though.
i personally think its too early yet to forcast but it would be nice for us on the east coast

i know flying ants are "harmless" but who has had them infest there house by tunneling through bricks/morter/plaster into the house or nesting in the living room not knowing untill they hatch

the weather here in n lincs has gone from drizzle 100% cloud cover to approx 80% cover with some very low clouds with short sharp showers from N-NE approx i was out in one an hour ago and (prehaps whistful thinking ) and it seamed sleety

here in barton N lincs on the humber bank (SEA LEVEL) Had a few showers and just had about 3/4 hour of moderate snow but looking at meto radar its only the begining tonight we have a good dusting and it is looking good for tomorrow

perhapsthis is in the wrong thread
what are the roads like in your area i am driving down from barton to spalding to drop my lad off at his mums on xmas eve, i normally come via castortop/horncastle but it is not the best of roads in winter (miles and miles of back roadslol)
