Yay that thats the spirit mrs m!! we just had a slight covering of snow here in leighton buzzard about an hour ago and we're only 40mins from you!!! def belong in this thread!! meltz

we had that here in leighton buzzard then it snowede quite heavily then back to very light snow........this would make driving on the untreated roads even worse i think!!!!

been snowing here lightly though for the last hour in leighton buzzard south beds! didnt think we would get any today!!

snowing quite heavily now in Leighton Buzzard, south beds almost a centimetre in 20 mins or so and settling very well!!

hope so snow angel ive got the boys to excited for it not to happen!!!!

we also have frost on paths and grass here in leighton buzzard, south beds!!! waiting to see if tonight brings anything!!!!

just read the last feew pages on this forum and can not believe the ignorance of one or two particular people on here. If we get told that we 'might' see some snow/rain or sleet today do they honestltly think that everyone would just stay at home and let the country come to a standstill??? Of course if we did that then the posts would be that we cant handle driving in snow!!!! being a forner Royal Marine who has spent many a winter in Norway, getting out of your vehicle and making your way on foot is not the most sensible thing to do unless your close enough to a safe warm place. my thoughts are with those who are not home yet. Hi guys just tried to drive from Leighton Buzzard, south beds to Watford, temp dropped from -2 to -8.5 at watford and looking to the south it seems to becoming very dark clouds heading our way....... snow may be or sleet and rain??

The snow is really coming down still and the wind stil strong too...off to bed..thanks all...see what tmz bringsx

We are off to bed...it is still snowing here in Leighton Buzzard..will wait now to see what the morning brings..will the kids get their las day at school...no one seems to want to give me a clue on here!!x

Okay just looked outside and it is really coming down now....earlier on Luton, St Albans and High Wycombe all getting snow and we had clear skies but we waited and now it seems to have got here. We seemed o be just missing ir here in Leighton Buzzard. does anyone know if we have more to come? Need to know if kids are going to school tmz?? It is stil very windy here but we havent had the thunder/lightening other places have had.

We are in Leighton Buzzard, South Beds, we were slow starters but has been snowing for last 2 hours or so..still windy and bitterly cold...not heavy snow but a reasonable cover. Can anyone tell me is there more to come?
