I live n south western wales we have got a deep covering and it is great but my question is if this artic front is expected tonight may it turn to snow where I am?

Apparently the A470 is set to be closed between Merthyr and Brecon with 3-4 inches of snow from the 1 shower, with this set clearing Port Talbot shortly.
ECM for Christmas Day looks very interesting indeed with easterly winds ahead of a front pushing up form the south.
if this came off would ths mean more snow for us?

That Fax chart is an upgrade from previous day, as the warm sector is further west. To my mind there has been no downgrade at all for snow potential over the weekend.

Of course it still not inconceivable that there will be some snow here before then.
