-
Yep rampkin sorry my friend but you have been caught white handed this time.
-
Light snow now - guessing 3-4cm here
Yamkin did say "heavy snow expected in Croydon" - he called it right this time!
-0.1c
I called it at 11am this morning i think that deserves a +1
-
Snow now turning a lot more heavier again big fluffy 50p type snow.
I thought about that too - haha - very moody
Ive had around 4cms this evening - that's a snow event in my book!
Exactly mate must not grumble.
-
Not much more to come down the SE, all pushing west now
I have seen you posting all day and saying that the se wont get nothing why all the doom and gloom? Are you Brown in disguise?
Snow intensifying a bit again. Radar also shows things picking up in the eastern half of London even whilst the whole system moves away.
As i was stating earlier that band of light precip to the east moving west has the potential to give us another few hours of mod - heavy snow once it moves past central london west.
-
Snow has turned light now still a good 4cms here tonight and maybe a little bit to squeeze
-
As the QPR boys would sing ' west London is wonderful '
Lol
Who?
Oh yea qphahaha
-
Totals heading up now here got around 3-4cms with mod ppn still coming
-
I would say around another 45-60mins left before we see the heavy snow band move west then to be replaced by light snow who knows that may well intensify as it moves west.
-
Where in Surrey?
Wimbledon - Morden area mate.
-
In all honesty i have been extremely lucky with snow events over the past three years 1m in 2009/2010 and a great period in 2011/2012
-
Everything is completely covered now. And no work tomorrow having a nice vodka red bull....
-
Oh my got massive 50p flakes falling and fast yippppeeee
-
Going by the meto radar the precip seems to be gaining intensity when it reaches London good news..
-
About 2-3 cms here in sw london at the moment and still coming back to heavy status...
-
The pavements have turned to snow and the roads went from wet to slush puppie and now starting to settle
-
Very heavy snow here and settling everywhere in wimbledon
-
Snow has faded down a bit still heavy but about 5p pieces here
-
Gritter has just gone passed now....
-
Very Heavy snow now in Wimbledon
-
We have heavy snow here in Wimbledon 2p size flakes and falling fast.
-
Still fairly light here, big flakes blowing around. Still not expecting much, London will certainly not get 'hammered' as some seem to be predicting. A dusting widely, perhaps a covering in western parts of our region - pretty much what the Beeb have been saying.
While I'm at it, let's top slating the BBC for what was a hugely difficult forecast. They nailed the weekend's event, this was a far harder call.
London does not have to get hammered 1-3 cms is enough to cause chaos
I will slate the bbc as since around 11am this looked very simple to me and i come home to view the 18:30 forecast and them saying no snow in the south east it was pathetic forecast looking at the radar.
-
where in surrey are you?
Wimbledon mate and its got a lot heavier since all cars and roads dusting over..
-
Snow just started here and surprise surprise already 20p flakes
