    Snow stopped at the moment ... theres a small gap then another finger of precip that might just scrape past and catch the tip of Thanet in the next 45 - 60 mins ... what do you reckon ???

    A quick qestion ... Do the MET office really take much care in placing their symbols on local weather forcasts ? They never really get it right, now for example the symbol is light snow ... well I beg to differ lol ...

    Thats over an inch now for Ramsgate Temp is +0.6c and its still snowing heavily

    Not had a flake of snow all day yet in Ramsgate ... That precipitation looks so close ... any time soon

    I hope so, problem being the temp has risen in Ramsgate from -0.4c to +1.6c

    Ive just dived in and subscribed to the full package of the Netweather subscription ... Lots of lovely goodies to use and keep a real close eye on the weather

    Looking at the radar do you not think that big pivot over the Reading / Woking area will swing that preciptitaion currently in the channel and Northern France along the channel and up into the whole of Kent from the SW within the next 4 - 6 hours ??? If so will the preceipitation decrease or increase and will it be rain / sleet or snow ???

    I think you will find the real extreme cold air pushes in on Wednesday opening the doors for heavy snow showers Thursday and then Friday ... Check out that BBC forcast earlier on in the previous forum ... fantastic !!!

    We have a good stream of snow showers coming in ... been snowing on and off for the last couple of hours, although light it has left a nice dusting of snow on the ground, with the light winds it feels really nice out with the soft snow falling all around ... Current temp in Ramsgate is +0.7c

    There are some beefy clouds on the horizon over to the North and East ... The temp has now dropped away to +2c in Ramsgate in the sun ... just need some of those beefy shower clouds to blow over this way

    We've had a few light flurries this morning from the rash of showers streaming in from the North East but no accumilations as yet. The temp is now +2.6c but is fluctuating between +2 and +3c ...

    I dont think much will come off in the way of snow from the wash showers as the temp in Ramsgate is currently +2.8c and im sure its much the same for most of us along the coast from Essex and Kent ... The temperature an hour ago rose to a silly +3.9c ... thats what weve been getting during the day recently Whats happening with the cold spell ???

    And then it turned to rain ... How did that temp rise so quickly spoiling the snow???

    And BINGO its started snowing in Ramsgate ... but the temp has risen to +2.3c ;o(
