We have moderate sleet in Hx, whats the chances of this turning back to snow? Any ideas?

Thats the batch that i'm looking at, i reckon it is on course to eventually reach me if it holds its strength, hope so!

Does anyone know if this heavy rain on the east coast will hold its intensity as it comes further inland? It will hopefully fall as snow on higher ground at least when it gets this far accross.

Does anyone reckon the bands out at sea could intensify during the night? Very poor here so far, prob because i don't have much elevation.

Would Halifax be classed as Eastern upslopes of Pennines? Moderate snow for at least half an hour here.

Just had 20 minutes of fairly heavy snow, a bit lighter now but blowing in a brisk wind, it's certainly heading towards you according to the radar

Moderate/heavy snow in Halifax, very blustery. Everything starting to cover again!

Our pipes are starting to freeze up from bathroom down to drains, any advice? So can anyone tell me in percentage terms what my chances of a dumping are tomorrow night? I know nothing can be predicted accurately but...

I didn't think there would be any chance of rain this far inland but that shows differently, i thought it would just be a case of will it or won't the band reach us. Can anybody re assure me? Please

From looking at the NW radar the showers building should hit W Yorkshire, Hitting the coast in same area as the last lot that hit us. I'm an absolute novice but would i be right in thinking this?

Do you really expect a couple of inches? I'm an absolute amateur in terms of forecasting snow but the band looks very thin. Is it set to grow / intensify before it reaches us?

i can't believe how little grit they've put down in Halifax, only the mainest of main roads are clear, the rest are lethal! it suits me fine though as it means more days off work!!!

i know, i shouldn't complain, i'm a teacher and tomorrow will be my 3rd snow day, that's a record for me! I just want to see more falling from the sky.

Seem to be missing all the showers in Halifax, just running slightly (very) to the east of us, need a gentle change in wind direction i think.
