  2. Sunny with a light breeze, 30.0°c
  3. Sunny 27.5°c, just off the high so far.
  4. Hot and sunny Temp: 26.8°c R.H: 49%
  5. Rather cloudy with spots of drizzly rain, the ground is damp from earlier drizzle/rain. 17.6°c 93% relative humidity
  6. alot of cloud and some sunny breaks, 20.8°c [85% RH]
  7. Was having a look at the SMS weather alert page [https://www.netweather.tv/index.cgi?action=sms] with IE7 and was alerted that the site maybe a phishing website and directed to a page to report if it was or not, so I reported it as safe, there is an option for the owner or rep of the site to report incorrect warning. I thought I better post this as some people may be put off this service with an alert popping up.
  8. Post here: Thunder coming from the north, home brew too
  9. Upto 28.9°c more cloud again, possible storms to the SW (using Radar) wasn't expecting the hottest day at 11am with cloud and 21°c, but a sunny lunchtime and afternoon have change that.
  10. Hot and sunny 26.9°c Highs today of 28.1°c
  11. Long sunny spells, 18.2°c , 73% relative humidity
  12. Glad to see Derek back, he has been missed, the local events and place names return too, including my village tonight, thankfully it was a decent length forecast even though Wales Today was only 20 minutes long due to Henman losing.
  13. A planet to me, is a fairly round object that orbits the sun directly (not orbiting another planet which is orbiting a star, unless its a double planet), and a certain size, I would include Pluto and 2003 HB313? As it said in the programme last night if the new definition of a planet excludes Pluto some may well ignore the revised definition. Maybe we should have the Inner Planets, the Gas Giants and the Keiper Belt Planets
  14. I think Pluto should continue to be classed as a planet for historic reasons, but there should be a minimum requirement for any planetary objects found since Pluto, like recent objects, Sedna and "Xena".
  15. This site is good for sunrise/set http://www.srrb.noaa.gov/highlights/sunrise/sunrise.html it give the time of Solar noon. Includes drop down menu with UAS and world cities plus own long/lat input
  16. Been a pleasant week after the thundery rain on Sunday night, with high the last few days around 20 to 22°c
  17. Some rather haunting pictures of the moon there. Well I missed this again, last year I was obstructed by trees and couldn't be bothered walking up the road to get a clear view :o , and this year nature throws thundery rain down after 15 days of dry and fairly clear weather. The moon is a fascinating beast and I do enjoy watching it rise especially around 5pm in darkest December.
  18. some sunny spells, 19.0°c, highs today reached 21.7°c first time since Saturday that twenty degrees plus has been recorded.
  19. A largely cloudy evening at the moment with temperatures around 17°c, had a thundery spell of rain around lunchtime, with reports of thunder heard in the City centre (Swansea), although nothing was heard at my location (5 miles away).
  20. Found a new wasps nest in our shed last week, my mother knocked it down and the wasps sprayed something from its back end at her. Also twice this week I have woken up to find a wasp flying around my window, the windows were closed during the night, its not what you want to see when you wake up in the morning, especially when you have a phobia about them.
  21. Sunny spells with a some spots of rain! 25.7°c High: 27.3°c, Low: 17.8°c
