i was watching the bbc forecast earlier and he said best chance for a snow falling on xmas day was north east but looking at the gfs it looks as tho its not going to b cold enough but im not expert. Oh and its still snowing:) aberdeens on bbc news

yeh same here it just keeps coming. im on holburn street and theres hardly any traffic normally there lorries every second. the only warning i heard was on sky news about airport delays

hi heres a pic over part of city councils website. been like this for about an hr again temps have risen quite a bit but its still below freezing

TOTAL WHITE OUT IN ABERDEEN been going now for over 2hrs with really heavy snow for the past hr. bn a while since ive seen snow like this there going to b chaos in aberdeen must b about 2 or 3 inches fallen

u were right stuart turning more sleety but its nearly stopped can see the snow is melting a wee bit. temps have risen 1c since 3 this afternoon

hey folks been watching netweather forums for yrs so thot id join. im a bit surprised im in aberdeen and it hasnt really forecast much snow today but its been snowing here for the past hr pretty heavy and since about 3 lighty till now. but have noticed on met office hourly updates that north of aberdeen in rosehearty that its turned to rain as temps have risen. any1 think it will turn to rain here?
