How is tomorrow mornings snow looking?

come on guys, can't we just have a bit of optimism! It's a bit gloomy in here ATM! The cold air isn't even here yet! We can all moan later IF it doesn't happen!

So many people saying snow won't lie after rain... the deepest snow I remember started as a heavy rain to snow event back in the seventies, and we all watched in amazement as the puddles quickly turned to slush , and then went white! ;-)
I know! Drives me mad! It's like the 'it's too cold to snow' comment! Of course snow can settle on wet surfaces! Just need to be cold enough!

how is it looking for the far South East? As that front crosses through will it also turn to snow as it pushes through here (Thursday). All I can see is images/screenshots for further north and west (London/Sussex).

Latest ECM firmly cancels out any rain to snow on back edge Thursday.
Possibly sleet on highest hills as the ppn pulls away SE.
So all eyes on Friday, can we pinch at least a flake from a rouge shower.
Otherwise it's business as usual thereafter- Dry and Cold (Ish) with the hopes of the ECM giving us a more amplified pattern upstream at + 144
Huh I thought it was Friday which was interesting for us here in the SE? The low (don't know if that is actually what it is! Easily confused here!) working its way down the east coast Friday day am, or has that gone now? C
If we got a middle ground between ECM and GFS in the longer term outlook would we still have a chance of the white stuff here being to the East?

Its really hammering it down with snow here, just slightly too arm to settle properly. Why couldn't this come overnight! Grrrr!
-
Snowing quite hard here laying on everything, roads included. Please please last more than a few minutes!
-
There is a bit of slushy stuff around the Whitfield area in Dover. Nowt in Eythorne though!

Isn't the heaviest stuff from the low coming later?
-
Just measured 4 1/2 inches on grass here.

Blowing snow here in eythorne. Laying on everything. Got nearly an inch already! How long is this meant to last?

I'm really confused, I can see that tomorrow afternoon/ evening is dodgy but there is still tues, wed and thurs at least for snow in kent isn't there? Why is there so much 'winter is over' mentality. Everything I have seen looked good for it on those days, or has it all changed again?
-
Nothing like a bit of negativity to get you going in the morning eh! I think we all know this is going to change throughout the day, hopefully for the better. 5 month old got me awake at this time of the morning but I have to check on here!

Exquisite in eythorne

Hmmmm, i guess if needs be, we will just to leave earlier on Sunday. I love snow, just please do it after i get home lol. Fingers crossed everyone gets a bit in the next week or so!

Im coming from Kent this evening going up to Birmingham, coming home late Sunday afternoon and im having doubts over whether to attempt it or not, slightly worried as i i dont really want to be driving home in the snow in the dark! What do you guys reckon?
-
Is it not simply just a little bit too warm here in the South East for any snow events? (now and in the forseeable future)
Im in Eythorne, Dover

Not too bad, looked really pretty early this morning. Still snowing lightly, just isn't heavy enough to add to existing snow. Now I'm looking forward to some warmer, sunnier days.
