  1. Looks as if it is beefing up nicely at the core, if it survives and the rest develops in to heavier ppn is another thing......
  2. I'd be happy with any accumulation -however small, so my young kids can play in the garden. We shall see.??
  3. Whatever happens , I am looking forward to the thrill of the chase and the radar watching!❄
  4. Madness on the met office app. They dont know what's going to happen I dont think. Showing snow for llanelli and then sleet in ammanford which is only a few miles north . Surely further north and higher ground = more snow?
  5. Light snow from 11am till 5PM on met office app for briton ferry. Things on the up maybe.
  6. Just checked netweather radar upon waking up , had dark blue ppn over where i live for an hour and checked outside and it is bone dry ! The easterly winds Must be evaporating the snow. Has Anybody else had any settling or seen any ?
  7. Any chance of those heavy showers behind the main front to slide more east? Towards carmarthen/swansea/neath area.
  8. Met office now changed to rain for here on the app for Saturday. Chopping and changing all the time. With a hard dry frost this morning surely the cold will hold out enough for snow .
  9. Met off ice still showing 6 hours of snow for briton ferry on Saturday morning !?? I'd take that with all these ups and downs
  10. Seen this in the south west thread not sure when it's for ? Got ppn over south wales.??
  11. Really hope that second heavy band would start heading north eastward a bit more ! towards briton ferry preferably.
  12. Belting it down in briton ferry and in the firing line of some heavy bursts. Worth getting up for indeed after a slow start.
  13. Also turned to snow here in briton ferry and starting to stick. The heavier ppn has done the trick .
  14. Sleet in briton ferry thus far , hoping for a change with the heavier ppn, a let down so far here.
  15. What time do you think we will be able to try and determine the track of the precipitation to establish where the sweet spots could lie , any ideas ? *what time will it be approaching the channel etc.
  16. Snow on top of the bwlch inbetween abergwynfi and treherbert. Came up to highest peak of road of the neath port talbot area. All snow noe , roads treacherous up there. Snow as far down as cymmer. So far. Got to be over 600m asl up here. *Everything turning white and thunder and lightning time to go I think
  17. As the last heavy precipitation left brtion ferry could feel the colder air digging in behind during the brief interlude. Hopefully any more showers can see a few flakes. Although not very hopeful in my location.
  18. As that last front shifted from west to east past briton ferry which is more or less on the coast , the last pp of the front was very light snow in the air. And it feels bitterly cold out there now. Hopefully through the night with heavier precip, hopefully can see some proper snow. Ice has already started to form on my patio also.
