    merry christmas everyone looks good for this evening for some more snow especially for the south current weather conditions are -2.3 clouds thickening and with 10inch of snow on the ground looking for a further 2-3 inches tonight im away to eat some turkey

    the gfs model for the past 2-3 days has being giving us early christmas presents outstanding charts.this time round it may give us a winter like the late 70s early 80s again lets all hope it doesnt go tits up

    nasty day down here snow on and off all day about 10inch lying all the side roads are blocked looking at the radars for the sw plenty more to come

    i cant see the atlantic very happy being blocked for a fortnight or so.im sure it will hammer us stupid for the best part of january with past experiences.

    another snow shower its been stuck over us for the past 30min.every one who cleaned there pads and drives will have to do the same again tomorrow about 8inch lying here all day hope it doesnt freeze it would be shocking

    i would not pay any attention to any model after +168 every model looks completely different after this.if someone can tell me why the gfs model has to go to +368 because its so trash it makes no sense also the euros +240 rubbish.

    alot of snow showers down here in the galloway hills being snowing for the past hour not heavy but a good 4inch already lying and more still to come by the looks of it.snowmen and snow fights tomorrow for sure

    heavy snow here in the last 15min about 2inch on the main road outside not good driving by the looks of it temps -0.6

    if this run was to verified it would bring blizzards to northern england and the whole of scotland over xmas but will the euros agree probably not

    very slight dusting here same amount for the past 2 days tonight is very cold currently -9.6c and not a cloud in the sky

    looks like the nw is for a hammering tonight looking at the radars. nothing here not a cloud in sight temps still droping -9.6c

    it looks very likely a breakdown will happen over christmas with most models now agreeing. i would expect a few weeks of zonal type weather till mid january before more blocking gets going again after all when was the last cold spell lasting 10 days or so
