Looking at what's heading towards us across the channel in Bristol, I think your covering will be a little more substantial by the morning! Here's hoping!

Snowing nice and steadily in the west of Newport now, we are on a hill but I'd say nearly and inch has fallen in the last hour and half. Main road beginning to get covered. If this is in for the night, it should be a really good covering by the morning

Heavy, constant snow in Gaer, Newport. Coming down really quite thick, at 3.30 there was nothing, just rain and now the scene is transformed! This could be quite a day if it carries on for as long as it is forecast to.

Long time lurker here. Never posted before! Anyway, it's snowing quite heavily here in the west of Newport (64m asl) Heavy rain turned to snow quite quickly but they've turned the lamposts off so I am having to do some long distance lampost watching from my back window.
