Well according to my radar pics its just taken a pretty big jump forward from where it was.....bring it on!!

9pm B'ham my guess and snow. Anyone been over to the SW thread in last 15 mins to see whats happening in Cornwall now its made landfall?

Was +0.5C on my dash when I came to work at 7.15 but slush had frozen over.

Most forecasts have it over the midlands tonight in the early hours, but at the rate its moving you would guess it would arrive before that, but it prob stall a bit as it moves inland. Happy days though if it gets here tonight. Could be in for an interesting scenario.

OMG !!!!! That is just MEGA precip! It's gonna be an interesting day radar watching I think. Lets see what happens when it moves inland !!

So......looking towards Tuesday, does anyone think there is much chance of that snow pushing into the West Midlands? BBC show it stalling short of here at the moment.

Well the precip from Peterborough - Cambridge has just reached here, and I can confirm its just about as strong as an asthmatic ant with some heavy shopping! (to quote Blackadder) Can't see the stuff coming out of Holland being any good, so best chance Tue night, followed by a rapid thaw and back to normal!

I am taking a keen interest in the precip that has popped up between Peterborough and Cambridge, seems to be pepping up a bit with the stuff just north of London and should be heading straight for the west mids. Nick, what is your current temp and dp?? Being as you are not far away from me.

Light snow just started falling here. Was expecting rain or sleet so this is good!

Anyone wanna report from Nottingham? Looks like you should have snow there according to the radar. Streamer looks like its headed straight for Wolvo so will report back later. Temp 2.1c here and slight thaw taking place at the mo.

Its all going spectacularly wrong! Anyone got any recent charts they can post so we can see whats going on??

I see Bridgnorth showing -7C too now, and thats lower lying by the river. Looks like the Peak District has nailed the precip, although some light stuff may filter through.

About 7 miles west of Wolverhampton, just on ridge above Pattingham.
