Hello all, decided to actually sign in and join the fun rather than lurk as I have been doing the past few years. I'm hopeful that things are going to get a tadge nippy
Totally unbiased here (as it will rain in Swansea) but I really do think (looking at the radar) that it will hit west coast of Wales (Gwynedd) and continue its SE track trough Wales into the West Country and exit between Exeter and Bournemouth
Ian f's latest post in SW thread.....
"Thursday early hrs/ early AM is particularly interesting, given the continued modelling of a small-scale cold front moving south through W Midlands/Bristol Channel. Theta-W fields show this well. We suspect this could yield more organised prospect of snow showers for some districts of W Country/central-S England early Thurs but await further runs before committing to the notion with deterministic confidence"
would this be relevant to south wales coast?
ok, had a really busy weekend , and only now just reading what is being predicted.....just I little excited here! Anyways quick question.......the north west etc have Met office warnings re snow fall etc, so why has wales not been included?
Just came back in from Swansea and what I thought was rain was actually sleet and hail.....never mind lamppost watching ( now redundant due to LED's)- I need a car windshield to spot sleet- is there a chance this could turn to snow? :cold:
Just come back from Swansea Marina! Wow really gusty especially going past the tower! Could feel the wind push the car ! Its like a wind tunnel. Is it due to get worse tonight?
What's the deal with the small low pressure in the English Channel ? Could it be of interest to Wales ?
Crikey I'm like an addict, I've had a taste of the white stuff and I want more more more ;)
