Current weather here snow on & off some quite heavy too looks like its in for the night. Here is the latest current weather warning from the met office. REGIONAL FLASH WARNINGS OF SEVERE WEATHER These warnings are issued to help the public make informed decisions that protect their life, welfare and property in the event of severe weather in the next few hours. They are issued when fixed weather thresholds are met. Widespread Icy Roads & Heavy Snow Affecting Darlington, Durham, Hartlepool, Middlesbrough, Redcar + Cleveland, Stockton-On-Tees & Tyne + Wear Widespread icy stretches will form on any untreated surfaces during Monday evening, and sleet and snow showers will continue too. Icy conditions will persist throughout Monday night. Those snow showers may be heavy at times, with accumulations of around 1 to 2 cms on low ground and around 5 cms above 200m. Driving conditions will be dangerous and the public are advised to take care. Issued by Met Office.
