  1. Happy with latest NAE run still plenty of snow around, heavier snow now looks later in the day.
  2. For people in the leicester area i have found another local station in Narborough to go along with the one at braunstone, got down to -8 this morning. Narborough http://narboroughweather.freeglo.net/trends.htm Braunstone http://homepage.ntlworld.com/m.dixon4/Cumulus/index.htm
  3. Looks like its peeping up to me on the 5min radar, clear areas in the front have been filled between Plymouth / Cardiff.
  4. I will be happy if we are still seeing greens and light blues on the radar, as that has been pretty heavy when we have had showers recently. Andy i think once it gets to us it will be around for a while, i can live in hope lol.
  5. Max temp today of +1.2c with a low of +0.2c so far in LE3. Noticed this morning that some roads which would of normally been gritted had not been this morning  And i know that several roads in coalville were closed due to ice and accidents this morning. @ Andy you may find this Coalville weather station link handy for what's happening up north lol.
  6. You can see the snow that's caused the blizzards in Germany now in Holland / Belgium and almost at the north sea coasts on the euro radar. Will be interesting to see how it tracks i would guess it going to head towards the south east of the UK, but if it heads a little more to the north we could be in for a decent dumping
  7. Looks like a another bunch of showers just left Europe and heading our way across the north sea - North Sea Radar
  8. Have you got it set to full power tonight really melted that shower pretty quick.
  9. Showers pepping upto the East, i wonder how far they will get in land ?.
  10. Temps have gone upto -4.5 from a low of -4.8 maybe a bit of cloud cover. Our bins were collected today Andy.
  11. That looks it for Leicester for tonight, as it is now pulling away to the west below us, maybe pick up some showers from the North East in the morning.
  12. Guys try this RADAR you can zoom in and speed up the animation, it gives you a very good idea what's heading our way.
  13. Thats what i am looking at as well, hopefully as it moves north it does not get pulled to much to the west by the low.
  14. Keeping a eye on that as well, i am just west of Leicester so as long as it takes a N/NE track we should be ok
  15. Yes starting to get a covering now, and the 5min radar has really pepped up in the last half hour as its got dark. And the snow to the west oxford seems to be moving more north / north east now as well.
  16. Andy, here in Whetstone just down the road from you, its just very slight snow, so shows how localized it can be.
  17. Starts snowing around 6am tomorrow, and its still snowing over 24hours later, if this comes off it will be like the snow when i was a kid in the 70's. Fingers crossed for everyone Tues 6am Wed 12 noon
  18. At least the rain shown on country tracks this morning for tuesday was snow on countryfile, just shows how quickly things change.
  19. Max temp today of +0.6c and now down to +0.1c Just watched the long range forecast on country tracks via iplayer, and to me we could all see at least a shower, and most with a covering but with the event starting around tuesday still plenty of time for the finer detail to be nailed. All it takes is a movement 50 miles one way or the other to make all the difference
