    here in wednesbury (near walsall) ive just woke up to some falliing sleety snow and a bit of a gale wether it will settle remains to be seen but looks wet and slushy

    been very light snow since 2.30pm here in wednesbury maybe a cm on the ground nothing to write home about and has completly stopped here for last 10 minutes

    hi all not a regular poster although a regular lurker and i really hope we get some white stuff for the weekend. as i travel 10 miles from wednesbury to kingswinford every weekday then it does cause distruption as its all up and down inclines. the weekend is different heating on snow falling big feet prints in fresh snow mmmmm

    hi all in wednesbury its a beautiful crsip winters day i drove into walsall and was 8 degrees on my car temp in fact i had window oen to let some fresh air in. cant see there being any snow this afternoon here as i think temos would have to drop drastically but be nice to get some evening snow

    just saw the bbc news 24 weather and theyve basically gone for warm air over uk all next week pushing cold away!! think ill have to buy a frying pan to put those eggs in!!!

    sky channel 134 live bristol city v cardiff you can see the sleet there gives you an idea of covering very little in my opinion seen more white on my mince pies at chrimbo

    im no expert at all but it looks like the showers from the east are heading northwards before they get to the west midlands so wouldnt expect anything from that band. are we supposed to be getting any of the stuff form the west over ireland??

    3.1 degrees here and rising snow melting and slush around. bbc downgarded weather and has temps 0f 3/4 degrees so i think we know it could be the end of the cold spell.

    im pretty much a newbie but i have a comment to make i watch bbc news on news 24 and they hardly make anything of the develpoing snow i turn over to watch sky and its a very different story! how can 2 forecasts be so different at same time?

    nothing here in wednesbury apart from a bit of drizzle earlier. hoping we get something later but i very much doubt that its cold enough just yet.

    hi this is my first post after a year of watching forum so be gentle with me x i live in wednesbury which is just off jct 9 of m6. its gone very cloudy but weve had light rain which has washed away the 1cm we had this morning. that is the only bit of snow weve had in the whole winter so far!!
