The band is too light now for the guys in east anglia anyway.

We got a couple of cm in the East Mids and it's still snowing but it's so light that the snow is melting quicker than more can fall to replace it.

I am with you on that one, Last night I woke up every hour almost to look out of the window but my dreams didn't come true. Tonight will be my first proper sleep since before christmas but I still hold out hope of waking to find a nice fresh blanket of snow outside.

Annoyingly it's sleeting here and washing away the slight covering of snow we got this afternoon.

Hardly even a flurry from bottem of london upwards until the wash area. Although im pretty sure the wash will perform so TEITIS (who acutally deserves it unlike those pesky people in Kent) will get pounded. Already evidence of those showers building up in that area.

Trouble is they are very light and keep pushing into Nottingham/Leicester.

The ones that head in the direction of Peterborough and Northants keep dying.

Latest BBC forecast just showed snow over pretty much the whole of England on Monday, and then on Tuesday the atlantic was trying to come in but was falling as more snow.

It is a little pants around here, MK/LBuzzard area, I went to Northampton earlier, its is like a different part of the world, less than and inch, where it has not melted or blown away. I feel sorry for those guys left wanting in N'pton. I grew up in that part of the world and the 80's and 90's alwat gave us enough snow for sledgeing in Abbby Park, Anyone remember??

Yeah it's not fair but snow never is. I guess that's what makes it exciting.

As usual there is snow to the north of us and snow to the south...

Ah well, tomorrow's another day… let's hope Frances & Sky are right and everyone else is wrong (or have they backtracked too?) night night and best of East Anglian and 3 counties luck to us all. And blow me it's snowed very slightly.

Well just saw a BBC forecast and although he said there could be a lot of snow in the far South East, it did show snow over much of East Anglia and also the Midlands.
