  2. Very good point, however lots of people looking on this thread, with limited knowledge are too scared to post anything.........
  3. Had a light dusting this morning, slight thaw & were back to where we were 24 hours ago, would like some cold now before the rain sets in next week........
  4. Bit of a novice question, when it gets as far as it can to the nw/w will that cause it to intensify?
  5. Latest nae has it further north, which is good for us Haven't figured how to get images on here yet using my iPad
  6. Parts of the sw reporting snow, will be an evening glued to the radar, my wife will be happy lol
  7. Met office warning out for the south of the region, for tomorrow, they seem unsure how far it will push in to the midlands, so radar watching will be the order of the day....... http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/public/weather/warnings/#?regionName=wm&tab=map&map=Warnings&zoom=7&lon=-1.92&lat=52.50&fcTime=1358769660
  8. Mmm interesting camperstron & Staffordshire, i read yesterday somewhere on here about the nae model predicting the precip much better than the other models recently, when will we be able to get it on the radar?
  9. Net weather just issued weather alert Further snow is likely across Northern Ireland tonight, bringing further accumulations in places with a risk of ice on untreated surfaces, snow will gradually clear Tuesday morning. Also, outbreaks of rain will move in across the far southwest of England tonight, bringing a risk of ice as it falls on frozen surfaces. Snow is likely to fall over the SW Moors. As the rain spreads further northeast across The West Country, South Wales and perhaps central southern England on Tuesday, it is likely to turn increasingly to snow. There is some uncertainties over how far north and east the snow will extend, but there is a risk of moderate to significant accumulations across SW England and S Wales. Might be worth watching tomorrow Tell us please lol
  10. Some of us south midlanders could be in with a chance tomorrow, as the last few days have shown a little shunt north & tomorrow's stuff to the south could be here, nae has us in the snow & it's been pretty accurate the last few day......
  11. I thought that, but the gaps filling again now
  12. It would & now the temps dropping even the lower levels will see some accumulation
  13. Just been outside to connect my Ro unit to the tap & it's snowing heavier now & starting to freeze temp here is down to 0.1c now been 1.0c all day
  14. Mmm, looking at the radar it doesn't seem to be able to get north, it seems to hit a wall then slides off west, which is good for us, an interesting few hours of radar watching to come.....
  15. Although its snowed all day, from light to heavy, it's not settled here if anything had slight thaw, however if temps drop it will be lethal in the morning.....
  16. so have we got a few hours of this, my wifes having a fit as she starts a new job tomorrow & she doesnt drive in snow......
  17. Pretty heavy here now & starting to stick....
  18. Snowing moderately here but only small flakes, looking at the radar could get a few hours of this looks like its pushing nw, there's some heavy stuff around the se looking at the radar
  19. I'm looking at that stuff building over Wales could be a repeat of last night, light snow for a few hours??? This time it will def stick due to being much colder
